2018 Official KMF Instrument DriveApril 24, 2018 officially kicked off year long instrument drive!
If you know of anyone that has played an instrument in the past and has put it down for whatever reason we would like to collect those instruments and place them into a new young musician’s hands to help bring up the next generation of musicians. This campaign will benefit two specific programs: Chapel Hill Middle School in Decatur, Ga Pittman Recreational Center in Atlanta, Ga @kilgoremusicfoundation Kids thrive when given the chance to learn and play music. Putting an instrument into their hands improves not only the quality of their education, but their lives. For more information or to volunteer please contact us! Thank to our partners: DeKalb County Public Libraries: Salem-Panola | Flat Shoals | Wesley Chapel & CRUSHHOUSE ENTERTAINMENT THANK YOU! |

KMF Instrument DriveAs we know there is a growing problem with lack of participation in our music and art programs around the country due to lack of instruments. The KMF’s goal is to round up as many instruments from our existing communities to help replenish our schools and community centers. One of the best ways to do that is to create opportunities for the local communities to give back. So imagine all of the instruments that are currently sitting in garages, attics, under beds, pawn shops and maybe even used as furniture being given back in the form of instrument drives in order to give music and art programs a new chance at genuine growth.
